Jeremy David Ramsey
(July 7, 1977 - December 31, 2006)
Jeremy Ramsey, age 29, of Harrison, died Sunday, December 31, 2006, at his home. He was born July 7, 1977, in Harrison, the son of Delvin W. and Connie Marie (Sieg) Ramsey. Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother; his grandfathers, Delvin Ramsey and Warren Sieg; and his grandmother, Evelyn Sieg.
Jeremy was a 1995 graduate of Harrison High School. He worked with his father for Muzzleload Magnum Products as a molding technician. Jeremy loved the outdoors and spent much of his leisure time hunting and fishing.
Jeremy David Ramsey is survived by his wife, Yolande (Shaddoxx) Ramsey, of the home; his father, Del Ramsey, of Harrison; his son, Jaxon Wayne Ramsey, of Harrison; his daughters, Alexa Dion Ramsey, Kaitlyn Ramsey, and Ashley Ramsey, all of Harrison; and his brother, Jason Ramsey, of Harrison.
He is also survived by his grandmother, Mary Ramsey Boorman, of Harrison; his great-grandmother, Mildred Bollinger, of Harrison; his mother-in-law, Diane Shaddoxx, of Zambia, Africa; his father-in-law, Guy Shaddoxx, Jr., of Bentonville, Arkansas; and a host of other family and dear friends throughout the community.
Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 5, 2007, at Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service is 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Faith Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Arlis Thrasher officiating.
Pallbearers are Matt Ramsey, Josh Rutledge, Cody Wray, Doug Lee, Mike Scaggs and Allen Chambers. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Magness, Nash James, Steve Cavender, Louis Melton, Tavis Villines, Guy Shaddoxx, III, Dr. Allan Jackson and Dr. Kimberly Chapman.
Interment is in Denning Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeremy Ramsey Memorial Fund established for his children at Community First Bank, PO Box 1700, Harrison, AR 72602. |
